Pre-requisite Workshop(s):
Professional healthcare practitioner, student in healthcare program or graduate of awaiting licensure/accreditation. If you have never experienced CranioSacral Therapy for yourself, it is recommended, but not required, that you have a session prior to class. This will help you gain valuable insights into how the technique works and what its effects are on the body. To find a CranioSacral Therapy practitioner in your area, go to www.upledger.com.

The required reading for this course is CranioSacral Therapy by John E. Upledger, DO, OMM, Chapters 1-6, available at http://shop.barralinstitute.com/Product-List/Textbooks/Craniosacral-Therapy and Your Inner Physician and You by John E. Upledger, DO, OMM, available at http://shop.barralinstitute.com/Product-List/Health-and-Wellness/Your-Inner-Physician-and-You. In addition to the required reading, please know the definition and/or location of the anatomical terms available at http://www.upledger.com/seminar_info/Terms/CSIterms.doc before the start of the class. The majority can be found in CranioSacral Therapy and Netter Anatomy: Atlas of Human Anatomy by Frank Netter, MD, which is available at http://shop.barralinstitute.com/Product-List/Textbooks/Netters-Atlas-of-Human-Anatomy.

Attire:
Wear loose, comfortable clothing (preferably no jeans.) A light jacket is recommended because temperature can be difficult to control.
Times:
Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. on the first day of class. A continental breakfast will be served until 9:00 a.m., at which time the workshop will begin. Subsequent class hours are 9:00 a.m. to approximately 5:30 p.m. daily, and the last day will meet from 8:00 a.m. to approximately 3:30 p.m. Class ending times are approximate, and may run late based on class participation.

Directions: From the North - Take 95 South onto Cross Bronx Express Way to Exit (Henry Hudson Parkway South). Drive down to 42nd Street, and then make a left onto Broadway. Take it down to 32nd Street and make a left. The hotel is on the corner of 32nd and Broadway.
From the South - Take 95 North onto the NJ Turnpike. Follow directions into the Lincoln Tunnel. When exiting the Tunnel, follow signs to 34th Street Exit. Drive east to 5th Avenue. Make a right on 5th Avenue, drive to 33rd Street. Make a right on 33rd and drive to Broadway. Make a left on Broadway. Drive one block to 32nd Street and make another left onto 32nd Street. The hotel is on the left hand side of the street.
From the West - From Route 80, take Exit 46 East to 3 East for Lincoln Tunnel. Follow signs to the Lincoln Tunnel. When exiting the Tunnel, follow signs to 34th Street Exit. Drive east to 5th Avenue. Make a right on 5th Ave, drive to 33rd Street. Make a right on 33rd and drive to Broadway. Make a left on Broadway. Drive one block to 32nd Street and make another left onto 32nd Street. The hotel is on the left hand side of the street.
From the East - Take Long Island Express into Queens. Exit at the Midtown Tunnel. Follow signs to 34th Street exit. Go west to 5th Avenue and turn right on 33rd Street, drive to Broadway. Make a left on Broadway. Drive one (1) block to 32nd Street and make another left onto 32nd Street. The hotel is on the left hand side of the street.
Valet Parking is available for $47.00 per day (no in and out privileges). The self parking fee is $37.00 per day (no in and out privileges). The parking facility is located across the street from the hotel's main entrance.
Transportation is available to The Radisson Martinique from the LaGuardia Airport ($15.00), JFK Airport ($23.00) and Newark Airport ($23.00) through Super Shuttle. The shuttle operates from each airport every 20 minutes. Immediate arrangements can be made at the Ground Transportation Desk. The approximate time to the hotel is around 1 hour and 20 minutes. Cancellation/Refund Policy:
Tuition is fully transferable up to 7 days prior to the start of the class. Within 7 days, a $100.00 administrative fee will apply. Tuition is fully refundable up to 30 days prior to the start of the class. Refund requests must be made in writing within 12 months of the registration.
